Christian Benteke and James Tomkins extend Crystal Palace contracts
Christian Benteke and James Tomkins have agreed extensions to their contracts the team has confirmed.
Tomkins deal will see him stay with the club until the conclusion of the 2021/22 season, while Bentekes time has been lengthened until the end of the 2020/21 effort.
Palace chairman Steve Parish told the clubs website:Im happy that arrangements have been reached with all these two important mature players.
Both James and Christian bring immense Premier League experience, commitment and professionalism to the group.
These new bargains show that we reevaluate their degrees of functionality in recent seasons, that we think in both players, and that they are hugely motivated by the way the club is going.
Central guardian Tomkins, who has played 87 occasions for Palace because linking in the summer of 2016, stated:Im currently in my fourth year and Ive really enjoyed my time .
Im excited about the future here and did not hesitate to dedicate myself to the club for an additional two decades. Its been fantastic to be part of this team and also to have the support of staff, manager and their chairman.
A special thanks for our fans who made me feel welcome from the beginning and so are so significant to us.
Palace striker Benteke, who has scored 21 goals in 98 looks for the Eagles, added:Im very delighted to have reached an agreement to expand my contract with Palace for a different year.
