Arsene Wenger writes off Manchester United’s Premier League title chances
Arsene Wenger has composed this season, and it has cast doubt on whether their newest crop can reestablish the greatness of the club.
After four games of the new effort, in which United have won dropped once and attracted double, former Arsenal boss Wenger sees potential in Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side, but insists that they aren’t ready for the very best.
“When you visit Man Utd, they’re one of those cases where there’s a potential there,’ he told beIN Sports. “But they have not discovered a collective manner.
“Maybe those players aren’t mature enough to take the team play of a team such as Man United, entirely. That’s the question mark today.
“You believe there is something coming out but it’s not prepared. When you see them play, they’re not a candidate to fight for the championship.
‘Will they emulate what (Ryan) Giggs, (Paul) Scholes, (David) Beckham did within a number of years? Personally, I am not convinced.”
United continue their season at home to Leicester City on Saturday, at a 3pm kick-off in Old Trafford.
